CHURCH OF GOD HOLINESS WELCOMES YOU

We are striving to carry out the commission of our Lord in preaching and teaching the Gospel--the Good News that lost men and women can be saved from sin in this life and know in their hearts the assurance of salvation. Since we feel that the needs of the soul are greater than all others, our ministry is not primarily social, but spiritual and evangelistic.

We believe--because the Bible teaches--that true religion is more than church joining or the keeping of ordinances. True religion is personal and unreserved committment to Jesus Christ, to His Word, and to His Church. We believe that every person who is saved by His Blood and is keeping His commandments, is a member of His Church and that every unconverted soul is outside His Church.

The doctrinal teaching can be simply stated in a few words:

1. The Bible is accepted as the church manual or discipline, and its truths are conscientiously taught.

2."All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God," (Romans 3:23): but God has provided full pardon and salvation in the gift of His Son for all humanity. This can be experienced ONLY when man, conscious of his sin, repents and comes to God in confession and faith.

3. Being justified by faith, it becomes the believer's privilege and duty to consecrate his all to God, to be cleansed from all sin, and enabled to love and serve God with all his heart.

4. Two ordinances are taught and observed, namely: Water Baptism, and the Lord's Supper.
